The Monster

There’s a monster beneath my bed. Eight feet long, it rears its ugly head, Shows rows of teeth and puddles of eyes. Its face is framed with horns. It flies. The wings on its back are like those of a bird, And beat so softly it cannot be heard. As it glides to the ceiling I wonder and stare. How can such a huge beast fit under there? I notice its talons: cruel, tough as nails. Its jaws swing wide and it turns and wails. The windows shatter so loud is its screech. I throw my two fists, but it’s out of my reach. Cornwall

Hey guys, just got back from scout camp in Cornwall a couple of hours ago.
Twas really nice, sunny all week
and sunbathed
and got burnt
and rented bikes
and surfed
and swam int sea
and climbed over rocks
and ate lots of ice cream
and generally had a good time
and stuff.
Now all sleepy from the drive home.
Night night.
